Overview

Jot Daily ("the App") is developed by Ullim Studio. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

Data We Collect

All journal entries are stored locally on your device, and their content (text) is never sent to external servers. To improve the App, the third-party services listed below collect usage statistics and crash information. If a Pro user turns on Google Drive backup, entries are saved to the user's own Google Drive.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

Google Drive (Pro Feature)

Pro users can back up their entries to Google Drive. The App authenticates via Google Sign-In and uses only the drive.file scope, accessing only backup files created by the App. It does not access any other files on your Google Drive. Google's Privacy Policy

Firebase Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand app usage patterns (screen views, feature usage frequency, etc.). The content of your journal entries (text) is never collected.

Firebase Crashlytics

If the App crashes, Firebase Crashlytics collects crash information (where the error occurred, device model, OS version, app version, etc.) so we can find the cause. It never includes the content of your journal entries or information that directly identifies you.

In-App Purchases

The App offers an in-app purchase to unlock Pro features. Purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's terms. Apple's Privacy Policy

International transfers

The following services used by the App may process information on servers outside your country: Google LLC (United States) — Firebase Analytics (usage information) and Firebase Crashlytics (crash information); Apple Inc. (United States) — in-app purchases. The content of your entries is never sent to our servers. If a Pro user turns on Google Drive backup, entries are stored in the user's own Google account (Google LLC, United States), only when the user chooses to do so.

Children's Privacy

The App is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
